Diane and I returned to one of our favorite venues–Houston Mill House–for Brianne and Kevin’s wedding and reception. The couple chose to have a “first look” which gave us extra time for photos before the ceremony. Here are a few favorites.

I am a wedding photographer in Athens, Georgia. My wife, Diane, and I have a passion for weddings. Although we have photographed weddings in the Carribean and Europe, the majority of our weddings are in Atlanta and Athens, GA.
Choosing a wedding photographer can difficult because of the amazing number of advertisements. If you would like to interview a photographer with nine years experience photographing beautiful weddings, please give me a call at 678 753-0148 or email lamar@lamargee.com.

Erin and Tommy had a wonderful weekend wedding celebration at Brasstown Valley Resort. Nestled in the mountains on the Georgia-North Carolina border, the resort offers wedding guests a variety of outdoor activities. Erin and Tommy each had a cottage for their attendants. What a great weekend!

Monica and Nathan scheduled their engagement session for Piedmont Park. They both are so at-ease in front of the camera, I know the wedding will be fun. They will be married next June, and I hope the weather is as beautiful for the wedding as it was for their engagement session!

October 15, 2011 was perfect for a wedding–a cool crisp day with blue skies. A wonderful setting for Kasey and Adam’s wedding in Moreland, GA. Kasey’s grandmother handmade her veil. Kasey arrived at the ceremony in a vintage Volkswagen bug. Please check out part 2, below, for images of the reception.

After a few fun portraits, Kasey and Adam joined their guests for a night of dancing under the stars. The highlight of the evening was Adam and his band serenading Kasey. Adam’s ring is so unique. The couple chose pennies that were minted in their birth years. Then the jeweler molded the pennies into a stunning wedding band! The festivities concluded when the couple sent Wish Lanternsinto the sky. It was a great wedding and we were blessed to be a part of it.
